Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens and their ilk

It has been online for awhile, but it’s so perfect a phrase that I can’t resist pointing it out to anyone who hasn’t read it yet. Associate Professor Berlinerblau from the University of Georgetown, in a rare stroke of genius, called the writers spearheading the recent wave of dumb atheistic writers “the football hooligans of rational discourse”. Such a perfect phrase, isn’t it?

    Not bad. . .

I have been referring to Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens and their ilk “fundamentalist atheists” for quite some time now.

To be honest Richard Dawkins is not nearly as rational, or indeed “bright”. . . as some would have us believe when it comes to his discourse about God and religion. I have pointed out some of the inconsistencies in Richard Dawkins’ “foot-in-mouth disease” on a number of occasions now.
