Had the same view from my window in Bavaria, where I spent Christmas in a small village on Chiemsee… Beautiful but oh so cold! And today snow is falling again in Vienna. Less pleasant… Happy new year to you…

As far as I know, you’re not interested in Simic. He’s much better than most American poets, and of course his background is…European.
