    Ps to above – Pynchon ist younger than Salinger (RIP) but you could have chosen either with that disguise!

    Just looked at another clip. Not reclusive ‘just doesn’t like to be photographed.’ Simone Signoret wrote a book called ‘La Nostalgie n’est plus que ce qu’elle était’. At the time sh called all the press interviews etc. ‘le service après vente’. Pynchon has the talent to rely on the quality of his work without having to give in to the ‘service après vente’, a phrase from Signoret I found perfectly said…
